With lots of products and very competitive prices, Tom Tom is closing in on Garmin. The Tom Tom One 3rd Edition is the same price as Garmin's nuvi 200, but comes with some cool extra features.
Finally, there's Magellan, one of the original companies in the GPS car navigation system market. They've got a great series called Maestro that I especially like, which runs from $150 to $350. They also have a deal with AAA that puts AAA's Tour Book right in the device! Of course, it's for AAA members only, but it's a great deal for frequent travelers.
